Capital Chicken & Waffles (CCW) is Washington DC’s first and only chicken and waffles food truck. Founded by 29-year-old entrepreneur Sharisse Barksdale in January 2013, CCW quickly gained popularity by serving hungry patrons in and around the Nation’s Capital. The truck's debut during the Presidential Inauguration events marked a significant milestone, showcasing its prominence in the local food scene.
